This is research entitled: "Asy-Syekh Muhammad Nawawi Al-Jawi: His Life and Writing" through which we wanted to focus on the life of pious scholar Asy-Syekh Al-Jawi, as man combined several sciences; such Jurisprudence, Sufism, Interpretation, Credendum – his efforts had a great impact in teaching Islamic sciences. Likewise, scientific project profound Hijaz, its surroundings Arab countries; reflections this Lord-Worshipper have remained religious schools Indonesia, Malaysia until now. Despite being non-Arab; he mastered language, gave him high skill, rare accuracy reading heritage. Research Problem: Many researchers especially Arabs believe that greatest effort service studies belongs scholars; ignoring major fact, utmost fell shoulders many non-Arabs who served sciences with services; including scholars Southeast Asia. Reasons for Choosing Topic: To get acquainted character honorable efforts; among reasons also highlight general, non-Arabs, general. Goals: study comes recommendation nation follow illustrious biography devoutly-religious scholars, order trace their influence establishing religion earth, empowering it, preserving it by spreading truths, showing virtues, facilitating resources. In study, used descriptive analytical approach. Among results research: The production right specializes linguistic legal requires special preparation characterized moderation.
